YOUR therapy session.
-
Discover who you are beyond your disease - mind, body and spirit. Find out how you function and what is considered ‘dysfunction’ for you. The goal being; living your most present, connected life even if you are not ‘cured’.
-
Discover how your life experiences have shaped your ability to connect with others, and find ways to restore truly life-giving, intimate relationships without requiring those around you to ‘change’.
-
Process through and confront your limiting beliefs, so that you can finally live a powerful life where you create and dream rather than protect and hide.
FAQs
Can I also see you as a doctor?
At this stage I provide therapy outside of my regular work as a general practitioner. This is in order to protect the time I spend providing therapy. Hence, if anything comes up in our sessions that I feel would be better handled by someone else (not just a family doctor but even a psychologist or counsellor) I will advise you of such.
Do you speak any other languages?
I speak Arabic and am growing in my ability to conduct therapy in Arabic.
How do you differ from a counsellor or psychologist?
I would say the way I work is closer to a counsellor than a psychologist. My typical client would be someone who has tried all medicine has to offer for their chronic condition, is aware (or at least curious) of the link with emotional stress and is willing to explore it in a safe space.
Can I have a trial session?
Yes. If you’d like I am happy to have a 20 minute conversation to see if we would be a good fit.
Do you see families or married couples?
At this stage I am happy to see each member of the family separately. I am not equipped for marriage counselling.
Do you take private health cover?
Currently, I do not take private health cover.
Are you willing to see people overseas?
Absolutely. I do most sessions via zoom.
